The Heart of Knightsville

Dear Friends, Working closely with the highly revered and renowned Stephen Feinberg, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Film and Television Office, and his assistant Scott Saracen, an award-winning producer of the documentary Chasing the Silver, I'm planning to produce a documentary about the Italian immigrants from Itri, Italy that settled in Knightsville, a small town in Cranston, Rhode Island. Having extensively researched their journey with the many struggles, hardships, determination, and faith they had, gave me the desire and commitment to preserving their story for future generations. The journey of the Itrani immigrants that settled in Knightsville is based on my books Eviva Maria, Madonna della Civita, and Under the Pear Tree. Through interviews with locals and descendants of the immigrants from Itri, Italy that settled in Knightsville, one will gain a deep understanding of how the town's culture and heritage have influenced the development and identity of Knightsvillel.
